Abstract
In the early fifties, H. Hopf proved that a constant mean curvature surface, homeomorphic to a sphere, immersed in Euclidean 3-space is a round sphere. Here, Hopf`s result is generalized to higher dimensional Kaehler immersed submanifolds of R{sup n} under certain assumptions. 9 refs.
