On the problem of soliton-impurity interaction

Abstract

The scattering of soliton on impurity of {delta}-type for the classical {lambda}{psi}{sub 2}{sup 4}-theory is considered. In the case of small coupling with impurity the potential approach is shown to be valid. The energy losses of soliton, moving in the potential, are calculated. The problem of the so-called resonance-impurity interaction is also considered. (author).
