Abstract
The relation between combustion of fossil fuels and the greenhouse effect, and other environmental challenges have created new interest in Norwegian hydroelectric power as an energy source. By means of various scenarios an attempt has been made to elucidate the possibilities of Norwegian exports of hydro energy towards the year 2010. In two of the scenarios studied, the export amounts to between 13 and 15 TWh/y in 2010. 14 refs., 34 figs., 9 tabs.
