Abstract
The Danish electricity company, ELSAM, tests the basis for decisions taken in the publication relating to national energy and environmental policy, ``Energy 2000``, by carrying out calculations regarding the electric power production system in this plan. For this purpose a very detailed simulation model is used. At the same time the Danish Energy Agency has made similiar calculations based on their own system. The results in both cases are presented and commented upon. (AB).
