Abstract
An older five-storied house in the town of Haderslev, Denmark, is owned by the local authorities and used for communal activities. Suggestions are given as to how to maintenance this house and convert it in such a way that the environmental quality is preserved. The emphasis is on the energy conservation, in relation to heating, electric power and the use of hot water. (AB).
