Abstract
The model of two-dimensional Coulomb gas on charge substrate is used to describe magnetic properties of high temperature superconductor LaBaCuO. The phase transition from the nonergodic superconducting state to the ergodic one is associated with the melting of Wigner`s two-dimensional crystal into the liquid crystal-hexatic, and the phase transition from ergodic superconducting state to the normal one - with the melting of liquid crystal. The T{sub c}(H) dependence calculated within these concepts is consistent with that observed in experiment. 22 refs.; 3 figs.
