Abstract
VIRESYME is a software used for the X-ray fluorescence spectral data analysis, and specially designed for the analysis of spectra obtained through monochromatic photon sample irradiation (synchrotron radiation). Yet, it may be used for other X-ray fluorescence excitation types. It is derived from the amalgamation of the SYME software (Wang) for the X spectrum decomposition and the VISPECT software (Piccot) for the result visualization.
