Measurement of radiation dose to the public from indoor radon from building materials

Abstract

The internal dose rate due to indoor radon (Rn) emitting from building materials is estimated. It is observed that the contribution from building materials to the dose rate is very small. The annual average effective dose equivalent obtained is 1.7 mSv. (author). 5 refs., 2 tabs.
