Transport in high temperature toroidal plasmas

Abstract

Recent theoretical and experimental results of confinement of hot plasmas in toroidal devices, in particular tokamaks, are discussed from general principal points of view and related to the predictions from a toroidal drift wave model using an advanced reactive fluid description.
