Analysis of the Falcon CT-6 experiment

Abstract

CONTAIN code calculations and hand calculations have been performed for the containment thermal-hydraulic and aerosol behaviour of the CT-6 experiment in the Falcon facility. Both single-cell and 9-cell CONTAIN calculations were performed. The 9-cell calculations gave much better agreement with the measured data, indicating that there were significant inhomogeneities in the containment atmosphere during the test. (author).
