Nucleon structure study by virtual Compton scattering

Abstract

It is proposed to study nucleon structure by virtual Compton scattering using the Hall A HRS spectrometers. This reaction is planned to be measured in the Roper resonance region and at the highest center of mass energy to observe the beginning of the hard scattering regime.
