Abstract
The ossification kinetics of corals implanted in bones in vivo is discussed. An improved experimental protocol is described, in which the number of samples analysed has been increased at each date to achieve good statistics. The behaviour of a radioactive implanted sample has been studied in comparison with a non radioactive one. Moreover, the radioactivated samples have been used for other studies concerning radioactive tracers. (K.A.) 3 refs.; 6 figs.; 2 tabs.
