Hartree-Fock approximation for Coulomb interacting anyon gas in a magnetic field

Abstract

Dyson equations for a Coulomb interacting anyon gas in a magnetic field are obtained and solved in the Hartree-Fock approximation. The states recently proposed by Greiter and Wilczek naturally arise from the Hartree-Fock solution. The electron self energies are calculated in the case when only the lowest Landau level is occupied. (author). 8 refs.
