Abstract
The present report describes the development of an industrial isotopic tomographic imaging system for nondestructive testing of industrial specimens on a laboratory scale. The system consisting of a translate-rotate type scanner, a gamma-ray beam generator, a Na(Tl) scintillation detector and associated electronics coupled with a PC/AT computer. Simulated data sets have been used in the studies carried out so far. The results obtained are in good agreement with the test models. (author). 10 refs., 11 figs., 2 tabs.
