Abstract
The composition of nuclear-electromagnetic cascades (NEC) initiated by hadrons in a dense homogeneous matter is investigated, and analytical expressions for individual NEC approximation based on component separation (electromagnetic shower, highly ionizing particles and relativistic hadrons) are presented. These approximations can be used in the energy range from 1 to 100 TeV. 7 refs.; 8 figs.
