Interpretation of distributions on K{sub {pi}}{sup 0} in pFe, nFe an {pi}Fe interactions at 0.5-5.0 TeV in the framework of modern models; Interpretatsiya raspredelenij K{sub {pi}}{sup 0} v pFe, nFe i{pi}Fe -vzaimodejstviyakh v ramkakh sovremennykh modelej pri ehnergiyakh 0,5-5,0 TehV

Abstract

Fluctuations of the observable parameters of nuclear electromagnetic cascades induced by 0.5-5.0 TeV cosmic ray protons, neutrons and pions are studied by the ionization calorimeter of the PION setup. The distributions of the inelasticity coefficient K{sub {pi}}{sup 0} are measured for pFe, nFe and {pi}Fe interactions and compared with the predictions of various models. The probability of the inelastic charge-exchange reaction in the {pi}Fe interactions is defined. 42 refs.; 8 figs.
