Abstract
The basic methodological principles of spatial resolved analysis of heterogeneous microparticles have been clarified, and the performance capabilities of the two sensitive, high-resolution analytical techniques, namely plasma SNMS and SIMS, have been verified experimentally for salts and oxides. Moreover, the application of a concept of element quantification and localization in microparticles has been demonstrated. (orig.).
