Abstract

The equation of shower axis projection and the coordinates of the centre of gravity of energy release are determined using the energy distribuion in the Cherenkov spectrometer cells at entrance angles {Theta} {ne} 0. The possibility of calculating the coordinate of particle entrance into the Cherenkov spectrometer is shown using the analytical dependence of the depth of the cascade curve maximum on the primary particle energy. The analysis of energy release distribution in cells also allows one to estimate the particle entrance angle, this requiring additional investigations. 5 refs.; 2 figs.
