Abstract
The gauged Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model underlying the modern mechanisms of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking without fundamental Higgs fields is investigated. Using the approach based on the formalism of Green`s functions of composite operators, the low energy effective action of the gauged NJL model is derived as a series in powers of the derivatives of composite fields. The explicit expression of the effective action in the case of weak ({alpha}<<1) gauge interaction is obtained. The structure of the effective action with respect to scale transformation is established in the whole region with {alpha}{<=}{alpha}{sub c}={pi}/3. (author). 33 refs.
