Abstract
Six following progress reports are included as R & D results of the Fuel and Power Storage Technology Subcommittee in fiscal 1991, (1) The development of chemical cold heat regeneration technique utilizing hydration by solute mixing for super heat pump energy storage systems, (2) The development of the low-pollution 300 W class regenerative two-shaft ceramic gas turbine for cogeneration systems, (3) The development of the system and peripherals of the 1,000 kW class MCFC pilot plant, (4) The development of fundamental fabrication techniques for ceramic separators and electrodes of SOFC, (5) The development of superconducting power facilities such as superconducting wire, superconducting generator and refrigeration system for power systems, and (6) The operational study of the 1,000 kW class power storage pilot plants using new type batteries such as Na-S battery and Zn-Br one.
