Entropy and baryon number conservation in strong coupling thermodynamics

Abstract

We study the thermodynamics of the QCD phase transition on the lattice with staggered fermions. We calculate the partition function at a non-zero temperature and chemical potential using the strong coupling and 1/d expansion. In this context we discuss entropy production in heavy-ion collisions. ((orig.)).
