Incineration Plant at Creteil (France). A study on the implementation of an air preheater and the energy saving realized

Abstract

In the Creteil incineration plant, the replacement of a vapour air/air preheater by a air/fumes preheater for combustive air temperature rising from 160 C to 460 C, is studied. The preheater will be integrated in the boiler radiation chamber. Material selection, gas corrosion protection, coating selection, heat transfers and thermal resistance of materials are studied.
