Economic analysis of the hot dry rocks geothermal energy applied to heat networks

Abstract

Taking into consideration the present state of the heat networks in France, the possibility of applying hot dry rock concept to heat network is studied. The potential market and economical conditions for this application success are derived. The main parts of this study are: compatible heat networks inventory, analysis of the regional distribution of the geothermal gradient in France.
