Influence of wettability micro-heterogeneities on displacements in porous media

Abstract

The purpose of this work is the study of the wettability, in reservoir rock, which is an important parameter for oil enhanced recovery. The development of fractional wettability models in porous media and the study of flow properties are the two main subjects described. This thesis is divided into five chapters: 1 Interfaces phenomenons and fluid flow in porous media; 2 Fractional wettability in porous media; 3 Wettability index; 4 Capillary pressures; 5 Relative permeabilities; 6 Electric conductivity. 157 Refs., 99 Figs., 9 Appendices.
