Abstract
We have studied the irradiation effect of 5.3 GeV Pb ions on the irreversible magnetic properties of a YBa{sub 2} Cu{sub 3}O{sub 7} monocrystal with local hall effect probe ultrasensitive magnetometer. In this paper, we shortly sum up our past results, and we submit new results at 90 K ({identical_to} 0.97 T{sub c}) which show that this type of irradiation increases the vortex line trapping near T{sub c}. 3 refs., 2 figs..
