On the solution of the pressure-correction equation in segregated algorithms for elliptic flows

Abstract

Segregated algorithms for elliptic flows, require that one or several equations representing pressure corrections are solved and devote a large amount of the total computational effort to solving these equations. In this report several different pressure-correction equation solvers are studied. Computational results are presented for two laminar and one turbulent flow configuration.
