Abstract
The problem of reconstructed function S(x) from the finite number of measured functionals is studied in the class of linear estimates. Functions S{sub n}(x) characterize the resolution of experiment or the response function of a detector. The bias and correlation operator of estimate S(x) are studied as well. The least square method, the method of spectral window, the iteration method, Tikhonov`s regularization method and others are investigated as method of estimation. 11 refs.
