The work is devoted to one of the important aspects of the computational simulation of fuel elements for power reactors, namely, the mathematical and program description of the physical-mechanical properties of the cladding made of H-1 alloy (Zr-1%Nb). The list of the subprograms included in the MATPRO-H1 library is presented and the properties of the cladding material, which are contained in the library, are briefly described. The library represents the first version of subprograms designed mainly for the codes simulating the behaviour of the fuel elements under normal operational conditions. Some subprograms can be applied also to simulating the fuel elements in accident situations. 11 refs.; 4 tabs.
