Abstract
Optimal parameters for a closed gas turbine with multistage compression are discussed from the view point of ensuring minimum coolant flow rate. It is shown that the use of multistage compression is most effective in the region of stringent restrictions on permissible temperature of coolant heating. Ranges of reasonable use of plants with various numbers of compressor stages are determined. 6 refs.; 9 figs.; 1 tab.
