Abstract
Tests of matching the capacities of the first and second stages of the helium wetscrew compressor Cascade-80/25 are completed. The following two methods are investigated: gas bypassing with delivery at suction of the first stage and gas throttling at suction of the first stage. A higher efficiency of the second method is confirmed. The optimum operating conditions of the compressor are determined. 5 refs.; 1 fig.
