Abstract
The Moessbauer spectroscopy method was applied to the study of phases in the ceramic compound La{sub 2}Co{sub 0.95}Fe{sub 0.05}O{sub 4}. The samples were prepared from a mixture of La{sub 2}O{sub 3} and CoO powders using the modified sintering technology, including heating on air with subsequent quenching. It was confirmed, that the low temperature phases are magnetically ordered. The X-ray analysis at the room temperature revealed two phases in the sintered specimens, one of which is orthorhombic with a=5.530 A, b=5.474 A, c=12.73A. 7 refs.; 2 figs.; 1 tab.
