Unruh radiation of quarks and the soft photon puzzle in hadronic interactions

Abstract

The probability of soft photon production by quarks undergoing large accelerations in hadron-hadron collisions according to the Unruh effect is calculated as well as the corresponding contribution to the observed anomalous low P{sub t} photons in K{sup +}p interaction at P=70 GeV/c is estimated. 11 refs.; 2 figs.
