Abstract
A technique of discrimination of strongly ionizing particles from the cosmic ray and alpha background of high intensity is described. The technique is based on the hidden image silver oxidation reaction resulting in production of AgHal. It is shown that when treating films with optical density D {>=} 4 by the bromine solution in water or developer with a following additional development, the emulsion retains the initial or close to it sensitivity. 2 refs.; 5 figs.
