Electron impact excitation of positive ions-partial wave approach in coulomb-eikonal approximation

Abstract

The eikonal partial wave theory for the electron impact excitation of positive ions is formulated firstly and is demonstrated in the 1s{yields}2s, 2p excitations of hydrogen-like ions. (author).
