Abstract
The objective of this project is preparation of engineering data to help meet the needs of industry, engineers, researchers and government for solar radiation data, models, and assessments, as required to develop, design, deploy, and operate energy conversion and solar energy conversion systems. The specific goals of this work can be classified as follows (1) Collection and assessment of insolation data through 16 site network (2) Error analysis of measured insolation data (3) Calibration technique for measurement device sensibility (4) Analysis of regional insolation components (5) Evaluation of insolation components in high altitude. (author). refs., figs., tabs.
