Abstract
The angular distribution of l{sup +}l{sup -} in the decay b {yields} sl{sup +}l{sup -} is studied. We point out that a large forward-backward asymmetry in the angular distribution of the dileptons in expected from the short-distance contribution in the standard model for heavy top quark mass. The asymmetry is a measure of the contribution of the Z and W{sup +}W{sup -} exchange diagrams, as well as, the top quark mass. (orig.).
