Abstract
Criticality safety calculations have been performed for used-fuel containers containing either intact fuel bundles or distributed fissionable materials. The containers were found to be well subcritical in both cases. The critical radii of plutonium solutions of three different concentrations have been determined for three saturated disposal-vault materials: sand, buffer and backfill.
