Abstract
We discuss a special type of polarization asymmetry (`handedness`) in the process e{sup +}e{sup -} -> 4{pi}, when one of the initial particles is longitudinally polarized. The asymmetry is proportional to the degree of polarization and to the width of mass ratio of {rho}-meson. It can reach 4-5% in some kinematic region. Both channels 2 {pi}{sup +} 2 {pi}{sup -} and 2 {pi}{sup 0}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -} are considered in the framework of the effective chiral Lagrangian with vector mesons, in the energy range {approx} 1.2 GeV. The corresponding total cross sections are also calculated. (author). 11 refs.; 4 figs.
