Abstract
In this paper we demonstrate how Ratner`s fundamental results on unipotent homogeneous actions can be applied to the study of general homogeneous actions. We consider such questions as the structure of orbits and minimal sets, multiple mixing, and measure isomorphisms of one parameter homogeneous flows. (author). 47 refs.
