Abstract
This report summarises a wind monitoring programme at Four Burrows, an EcoGen windfarm site in Cornwall, England. The characteristics of the wind were measured at 10, 20 and 30 metre heights, and recorded over a period of one year. The long-term annual average windspeed was estimated to be 7.4 metres per second, as a result of correlation with data from a meteorological station at St. Mawgan Airfield, Cornwall. (author)
