Abstract

The experimental and calculated values of suppression factor of continuous Compton spectra measured by anti-Compton spectrometer (ACS) are presented. The calculations were made by means of Monte Carlo method taking into account photoelectric absorption of {gamma}-rays, Compton scattering and pair production. The response function of ACS for {sup 60} Co source was investigated. (author). 24 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab.
