Abstract
The Symposium on Technology in Laboratories was held on March 19 and 20, 1991 at Toki-Bunka Plaza in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. This symposium was hosted by National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS). There were about 280 participants from many Japanese universities and laboratories, and from some Japanese industrial world. Eighty papers were presented in the symposium. Technical experience and new techniques were reported and discussed being divided into five sessions; technologies of fabrication, cryogenics, diagnostic and control system, computer and experimental apparatus.
