Abstract
In order to estimate the possibility of bunch lengthening in the ATF damping ring, the longitudinal broad-band impedance of the ring was evaluated numerically. The impedance was found to be so small that the bunch the lengthening should not be observed in the design of the ATF damping ring. (author).
