Abstract
A study has been made of the extraction equilibrium of Am(III) and rare earth elements(III) in HNO{sub 3} solutions with P507-sulphonating kerosene. It has been found that this equilibrium depends on saponification ratio of P507, feed acidity, metal concentration as well as phase ratio. The extraction ability in order is La
