Abstract
The 3D turbulent flow in the hot plenum of a LMFBR is analyzed under forced convection regime. High order numerical scheme and fine mesh resolution allow to capture the details of the flow field: three dimensional flow patterns under the free surface, and velocity field in the core outlet region.
