Cyclotron and drift instabilities of rotating plasma; Tsiklotronnye i drejfovye neustojchivosti vrashchayushchejsya plazmy

Abstract

Linear theory of small-scale kinetic and hydrodynamic ion cyclotron and drift instabilities of weakly-nonuniform slowly rotating plasma is developed. Possible saturation levels of considered instabilities are determined, velocity of ion component turbulent heating is estimated. 16 refs.
