A theory of quantum diffusion localization

Abstract

The phenomenon of quantum localization of the classical dynamic chaos is reviewed using the kicked rotator as a simple example. A new phenomenological theory of quantum dynamical relaxation is presented and compared with the existing theory and with some computer simulation data. 14 refs.
