Abstract
A paper published last year on the municipal utilities as they used to exist on the territory of the former German Democratic Republic and a contribution that has been revised and supplemented accordingly offered interesting insights into the municipal supply structures of the past. The municipal utilities were converted into collective combines at the beginning of the fifties, as were incidentally other sectors of the economy. The continued discussion on the demands of the communities on the municipal works for restitution in kind has recently also brought up the question as to a participation of the communities and the Laender in former regional and/or horizontally integrated utilities in the area of electricity generation and distribution. [Deutsch] Ein im vergangenen Jahr veroeffentlichter Beitrag ueber die ehemals existente kommunale Versorgungswirtschaft auf dem Gebiet der frueheren DDR sowie ein danach ueberarbeiteter und ergaenzter Beitrag vermittelten interessante Einblicke in ehemalige kommunale Versorgunsstrukturen. Die kommunalen Versorgungsbetriebe wurden wie uebrigens auch andere Wirtschaftszweige Anfang der 50er Jahre in Kombinate ueberfuehrt. Die anhaltende Diskussion um die Naturalrestitutionsansprueche von Kommunen an ehemaligen Stadtwerken hat in letzter Zeit auch die Frage nach kommunalen Beteiligungen sowie nach Landesbeteiligungen an frueheren Regional- bzw. Verbundunternehmen im Bereich der Stromerzeugung und -verteilung
