Abstract
In relation to thermal power plants, the status of hot gas cleaning and the properties of tin oxide and the compounds formed in an impure coal gas are discussed and results of experiments with SnO{sub 2} masses are presented and evaluated. Possible cleaning processes with regard to a number of other compounds in the coal gas are considered. (AB)
