Abstract
Using the MD-1 detector at the VEPP-4 e{sup +}e{sup -} storage ring the inclusive production rate of the {Lambda} and {Xi}{sup -} baryons in direct {Upsilon}(1S) decays are measured. The {Lambda} momentum spectrum in direct {Upsilon}(1S) decays is obtained. The inclusive production rate of the {Lambda} baryon in the continuum at center of mass energies 7.2-10.0 GeV is measured. 9 refs.; 3 figs.; 6 tabs.
